Our Story

Wonderview School was founded by Libby Farmen out of a deep conviction that education should cultivate not only knowledge, but wisdom, wonder, and a love for what is good, true, and beautiful. After years of working with students and families, and learning about classical education, Libby saw a growing need for an educational model that combined strong academics with healthy family rhythms, meaningful parent partnership, and Christ-centered formation. She believed children flourish when they are truly seen, known, and loved — and when learning takes place within warm, orderly classrooms rooted in truth and wonder. With these convictions in mind, Wonderview School was launched, in partnership with a group of parents and committed teachers, as a classical Christian hybrid school designed to support both students and families. By pairing teacher-led instruction on campus with meaningful learning at home, Wonderview seeks to cultivate joyful, thoughtful learners while preserving the beauty of family life and childhood. Libby is passionate about creating a school culture where students are challenged academically, grounded spiritually, and inspired to pursue wisdom with curiosity and humility. Under her leadership, Wonderview continues to grow as a community committed to beauty, goodness, truth, and a deeply relational approach to education. Today, Wonderview serves students from Junior Kindergarten through middle school and is prayerfully preparing for future growth into the upper grades. Libby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Leadership with an emphasis in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education and is actively working on her dissertation focused on teacher effectiveness and instructional growth. Libby has spent the past seven years leading schools and educational programs. She has also completed graduate coursework in management and leadership through Harvard University and Washington State University.
