Grammar School Teacher — Part-Time

The Role
We are seeking a joyful, engaging Grammar School Teacher to join our team for the 2027–2028 school year. This part-time position will teach elementary-age students within our classical Christian program. Specific grade level and teaching responsibilities will be determined based on the strengths and experience of the candidate.

​

Our ideal teacher loves Jesus, loves children, and loves learning. We are looking for someone who brings warmth and enthusiasm to the classroom, works well as part of a team, and is excited to grow in classical Christian education.

Schedule: 2–3 days per week, September–May
Approximately 55 teaching days (2 days/week) or 87 teaching days (3 days/week) during the school year.

Logic (Middle School) Teacher — Part-Time

The Role

We are seeking one or more engaging and thoughtful Logic School Teachers to join our team for the 2027–2028 school year, working with students in grades 7–8.

The Logic years are when students increasingly ask why, connect ideas, test arguments, and form deeper convictions. We are looking for teachers who enjoy this stage—teachers who welcome good questions, lead meaningful discussions, and help students learn to reason carefully and communicate graciously.

Specific courses and responsibilities will be determined based on the strengths and experience of our candidates.

Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week, September–May.

Rhetoric Humanities & Homeroom Teacher — Part-Time

(9th and 10th grades)

​

Wonderview is a growing classical, Christian hybrid school partnering with families to cultivate wonder, wisdom, and a lifelong love of learning. In 2027–2028, Wonderview will expand into the Rhetoric years with the launch of 9th and 10th grades, continuing our long-term growth toward Jr.K–12.

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Rhetoric Humanities & Homeroom Teacher to help establish Wonderview High and serve as an anchor teacher and mentor for our inaugural high-school students.

​

The Rhetoric years are when students move from asking why to learning to articulate ideas, defend their convictions, and communicate with wisdom and grace.

This teacher will lead an integrated humanities experience that may include literature, history, composition, rhetoric, theology/apologetics, discussion, and debate, while also serving as a homeroom teacher and mentor to students.

​

Experience teaching Latin or classical languages would be especially valuable and could potentially be incorporated into the humanities role, but is not required.

​

Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely loves ideas and adolescents—someone who would be energized by sitting around a table discussing a great book, examining a historical question, challenging an argument, helping a student strengthen an essay, or exploring how the Christian worldview speaks into the questions students are asking.

​

Because this person will help establish the culture of Wonderview High, we are especially looking for a teacher with a collaborative, pioneering spirit who is excited to help build something excellent.

​

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2–3 days per week, September–May. Specific teaching responsibilities will depend upon experience and program needs.

• Has a vibrant Christian faith and can thoughtfully engage students in Scripture, theology, and apologetics

• Loves great books, history, ideas, writing, and meaningful discussion

• Can help students develop strong skills in reasoning, writing, speaking, and respectful debate

• Enjoys mentoring high-school students as they develop greater independence and responsibility

• Creates a classroom culture that is intellectually serious while remaining relational and joyful

• Works collaboratively with faculty, leadership, students, and parents

• Has strong subject-matter knowledge; a bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced study or relevant teaching experience valued

• Has experience with classical education or is eager to grow deeply in classical pedagogy

• Brings intellectual curiosity, humility, warmth, and a love for Christ and students.

Adjunct Math Teacher — Grades 6–10

Wonderview School is seeking a part-time Adjunct Math Teacher to work with students in grades 6–10 for the 2027–2028 school year.

​

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves mathematics and enjoys helping students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why mathematics works.

The position will likely teach one to two classes per day, up to three days per week, September–May. Specific courses will be determined based on enrollment, student placement, and the strengths of the candidate.

• Has strong mathematics knowledge and enjoys working with adolescents

• Can make challenging concepts understandable and engaging

• Creates an orderly, encouraging classroom with high expectations

Adjunct Science/STEM Teacher — Grades 6–10

Wonderview School is seeking a part-time Adjunct Science STEM Teacher to work with students in grades 6–10 for the 2027–2028 school year.

​

We are looking for someone who loves helping students observe, investigate, experiment, build, and understand God's created world through excellent science and STEM instruction.

​

The position will likely teach one to two classes per day, up to three days per week, September–May, with opportunities for hands-on labs, experiments, and STEM projects.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong knowledge in science, engineering, or a related STEM field

• Enjoys hands-on learning, experimentation, and problem-solving

• Can make complex concepts accessible and engaging for adolescents

• Creates a safe, orderly, and intellectually curious classroom

• Supports Wonderview's classical, Christian educational philosophy

• Works collaboratively with our Logic and Rhetoric faculty

• Has relevant education, professional experience, or teaching experience.

Teaching experience is valued, but we also welcome scientists, engineers, healthcare professionals, and other qualified STEM professionals who have a desire to teach.

Adjunct Latin/Classical Languages Teacher — Grades 6–10

Wonderview School is seeking a part-time Adjunct Classical Languages Teacher to join our Logic and Rhetoric faculty for the 2027–2028 school year.

​

Languages have long been an important part of Wonderview's classical curriculum, helping students develop a deeper understanding of language, grammar, history, culture, and the roots of Western thought.

​

We are looking for someone with a strong background in Latin and/or other languages who is excited to help us continue developing our language program as Wonderview grows. Experience with Latin is especially valuable, while knowledge of Greek, Spanish, or additional languages would also be welcomed.

​

This position may include one to two classes per day, up to three days per week, depending on the candidate's strengths, student needs, and the development of our Logic and Rhetoric programs.

​

Teaching experience is valued, but we also welcome candidates with strong language proficiency, relevant academic study, or professional experience who are excited about teaching.
