Our Families Say

Bevers_-1 (2).jpg
Wonderview has been a great answer to prayer for our family! Over the years, our family has experienced a variety of educational environments (100% at home, coops, public, private, etc.). However, we were still waiting to fully achieve the educational experience we desired for our family.

Our children love that they still get the “in-class” experience with fun, friends, structure, etc. As parents, we love that the burden of curriculum choices, lesson plans, and teaching full-time five days a week has been removed so we can enjoy learning alongside our children again!

Where learning is WONDERful

We proudly introduce ourselves as Lincoln, NE's premier Classical, Christian, Hybrid school, the first and only of its kind in the area. Rooted in the Christian worldview, our mission is to not only impart knowledge but also foster deep understanding and nurture wisdom through the timeless approach of classical curriculum and pedagogy.

We are a partner to families that wish to educate in a hybrid model and our families apply for state exemption which is their right to educate outside of state-ran schools.

What? No homework?

The hybrid model creates a healthier school-life balance for families. So many children do not thrive at a desk for 35 + hours per week. Our hybrid model allows students to choose to be in-school two or three days per week and complete the rest of their work on school@home days. This model enables all school work to be completed during the day and frees up families' evenings and weekends to pursue hobbies, spend time together and get a break.

JOYFilled

Every day, in lively classrooms and inspiring learning spaces, girls and boys in Kindergarten through Grade 8 open their minds and blossoming hearts to ideas and thinking that will transform their lives and point them toward the good, the true, and the beautiful.

Amidst the myriad educational options in Lincoln, one might ponder: what sets Wonderview apart? What makes Wonderview truly Wonderview?

Well, the answer lies within the very fabric of our school community. To discover why we stand out, let's delve into the captivating journey of the Kriefel family.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘀’ 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 “We started out at a great public elementary school when our oldest was in kindergarten in 2018. Even though it was a good school, COVID helped us realize we were missing something. We started exploring all of the options for our family. We had the desire to have more family time. When our 3rd child started kindergarten, we realized sitting in a classroom all day, everyday, was not the right fit for him, either. I was nervous to start a homeschool journey and was uncertain of my capability to provide my kids the education they deserved. When we first stumbled upon Wonderview, we went to an informational session with an open mind and left feeling like this was definitely something we needed to pray about more. God put it on our hearts to apply for the following school year and we anxiously awaited the reply. We were on our way home from an appointment at children’s hospital with our son and had just learned that we needed to adjust his learning environment for him to be his best self when I received the email that we had been accepted into Wonderview. It was truly an answer to prayer and has continued to exceed our expectations. The homeschool aspect is guided so well by Libby and the teachers, not to mention other families attending, that we have not for one second felt like we couldn’t do it. Our kids love school and are actually sad on the days off. Wonderview has truly been an answer to our families prayers in so many ways. We love the family time we have now, no homework on school days, our kids are thriving in their environment that is so perfect for kids! And we have felt like, in just a few short months, we have become part of a family.”

Technology Free

Your child doesn't need a Chromebook; children already have enough technology access, so our campus is technology-free, and students enjoy hands-on activities as a part of our core curriculum as well as plenty of recess and time outside.

CLASSICAL

Classical education challenges students to become avid seekers of knowledge, ready to challenge all arguments in the pursuit of truth. Special focus is placed on cultivating learners who are able to think critically, pursue truth, and engage in civil debate as crucial to participation in a free society.

CHRISTIAN

We are a non-demoninational, faith-based school. Bible is a part of our core cirriculum. We teach that salvation is grace by faith alone.

The ultimate end of Classical Christian education is to enable the student (disciple) to better know, glorify, and enjoy God.
